Amron was founded in 1978. We are headquartered in Vista, California in a fully modernized 38,000 square foot facility and also operate in a 5,200 square foot facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Amron is a full line distributor for most major brands of diving, hyperbaric, search and rescue, tactical, flight deck, and personal protection equipment sought out by its customers. Amron has been fortunate to develop long-term relationships with hundreds of reputable manufacturers and have been granted many exclusive USA and worldwide distributorships.
Amron also manufactures and develops numerous lines of equipment highly regarded within the underwater and hyperbaric industries for more than 25 years, including Amcom™ diver communicators, helium voice unscramblers, oxygen treatment panels and hoods, chamber conditioning systems, vulcanized rubber drysuits and numerous other products. Amron's manufacturing team continually focuses on refining and improving their products using state-of-the-art technology as well as feedback and exchange from its customers. Several of Amron's communicators have been tested by the Government and are approved for US Military diving use.
Amron has always strived to keep pace with the latest in technology. Amron's business database contains over 80,000 inventory items and approximately 1,500 National Stock Numbers. The Company's Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and Manufacturing staff continually update their literature and databases.
